Air Travel

Looking for adventures in transportation? Then look no further than the exciting city of Grapevine, Texas. How can the be adventurous transportation in Grapevine? For starters, there’s almost every mode of transportation available in this beautiful city, starting with air-travel. Grapevine is easy to get to by airplane as the northwest corner of DFW International Airport sits in the southeast corner of Grapevine. Chances are, if you landed from a city in the western part of the United States, you probably landed on the west side of the airport, which is located directly in Grapevine. Although air-travel is common this day and age, it’s still quite an adventure.

The airport is a transportation hub within itself consisting not only of airplanes, but there are buses, a tram for the different terminals, ride-share services, taxi-cabs, hotel shuttles and DART-Rail that will take you to and from the city of Dallas, and then there’s the TEXRail that can take you to and from the city of Ft. Worth, Texas. There’s a stop for the TEXRail right in Grapevine at the Historic Train Depot which will take you right into the heart of downtown historic Grapevine. It’s where aviation enthusiasts come from all over to get as close to the action as they possibly can. It’s a wonderful place to have a picnic and enjoy the sites and sounds of DFW International Airport. Founders Plaza definitely brings the adventures in transportation to the folks of Grapevine.

Train Adventures

If train travel takes you to an era of romance and mystery, then Grapevine has another layer of adventurous travel to experience, so don’t miss out.

If you’re looking for an experience on a vintage train, then look no further than Grapevine, Texas. Departing from the Historic Train Depot in Grapevine, you will take a nice soothing train excursion into the Historic Stockyards of Ft. Worth, Texas (ftworthstockyards.org). You’ll be able to spend a few hours walking around and enjoying the sites, tastes, sounds, shops and even a stampede of bulls right down Main Street in the Stockyards. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase on the train ride to enjoy as you take in the scenery along the way. There are air-conditioned cars as well as open-air cars for all to enjoy. TEXRail

TEXRail to Ft. Worth

A quick 45 minute ride to Ft. Worth, TX from Grapevine without having to worry about sitting in traffic. TEXRail will take you to the T&P Station in the heart of the Ft. Worth straight from the Grapevine Station. It’s an easy way to take a day trip and enjoy the ambiance and all of the charm that Ft. Worth has to offer. DART Rail to Dallas

Riding the Orange Line from DFW Airport into the beautiful cosmopolitan city of Dallas, TX. DART Rail can get you there in no time. Enjoy the day shopping at the finest venues, eating at fine dining restaurants and enjoying the attractions and museums. The Heart of North Texas

An Evening Summer Sky in Grapevine, TX

Grapevine, Texas is literally the heart of North Texas. It’s between the two major cities of Dallas and Ft. Worth, each with their own style of shopping, entertainment, dining and transportation. If you are staying in Grapevine I strongly encourage you to visit both of these cities, of course after you have taken in all of the sites and attractions that Grapevine has to offer.
