An Unexpected Stay

When an unexpected stay happens it can sometimes throw off your eating times and what you had planned for your meals. On this particular trip I am working, I was only supposed to be in Portland, OR for one night. However, due to a cancellation of my flight to Dallas, I ended up staying an extra night in Portland.

My food choices around the hotel were limited but I managed to find an IHOP restaurant. https://www.ihop.com/en/menu. I decided on the Country Breakfast Bowl, https://www.ihop.com/en/menu/burritos-and-bowls/country-breakfast-burrito-and-bowl. I did not get the hash-browns or gravy that comes with it, and I drank water as my beverage.

To say it was filling is an understatement. I actually couldn’t finish it all. But I was satisfied and kept it Keto. Remember that even at chain restaurants and fast food places, there is always an option to keep it Keto. Simply go to your favorite restaurant’s menu and research what they have. Then when an unexpected stay happens, you’ll be ready.

Leftovers

I still have leftover food that I will be able to consume on my journey back home. Being prepared makes traveling so much easier, especially with an unexpected stay thrown in. I always bring more than I need and usually have plenty leftover to store for my next trip. Meal Preppping for the work week explains more in detail about that. It’s important to keep meals ready so that in a pinch, you’ll have something already made and not have to worry about what to make, or if it’s Keto friendly.

I hope you have a great morning, day, or night and keep checking back for more helpful articles as well as video content of my travels. You can find that at my YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRqCwxd-onnYC6xYoMhChig/featured.
